James Cameron has previously stated that the film will likely not be entitled " Avatar 2 ", since Jake is no longer an avatar at the end of the first movie, but rather a Na'vi. Cameron later explained in a February ET interview that the title was one of many under consideration and no final decision about titles had been made yet. Cameron has said in a statement to THR: "In the second and third films, which will be self contained stories that also fulfill a greater story arc, we will not back off the throttle of Avatar's visual and emotional horsepower, and will continue to explore its themes and characters, which touched the hearts of audiences in all cultures around the world.
Avatar 2 has been nearly a decade in the making and is set to return audiences to the magical 3D world of Pandora, the home of the Na'vi and a host of other magical creatures. Avatar 2 features a ton of returning cast members from the first Avatar movie. Sam Worthington is reprising his role as Jake Sully, a former U. Marine and human who became a part of the Na'vi by transferring his consciousness into his avatar's body. As for the humans, Stephen Lang is returning as the series' main antagonist , Colonel Miles Quaritch, despite dying in the first film, and Giovanni Ribisi will be joining him as the Research Development Administration's corporate head, Parker Selfridge. Joel David Moore is also coming back as Dr. Norm Spellman, with Dileep Rao as Dr.
However, there are also those who are saying that the flirting report is probably due to the fact that the rumored couple is going to film several love scenes in the movie. But it is likely that the spillover rumors are inaccurate as well since filming has not started at all. So there is no flirting going on and no supposed love scenes yet too.
